To better Christen in the novices to religious life, each cell is blessed with the Holy Sacrament in a solemn procession. We broke out the candles, incense, and proper vestments for this event. Below are a few of the brothers as they ask the Lord's blessing and the intercession of their patron saints.

Brother Matthew Augustine is the first to receive his cell blessing. While Fr. Anthony gave the formal blessing, each brother prepared a personal prayer that preceded it. Following his own prayer, the door posts and threshold were blessed with water from Lourdes, then the Holy Sacrament entered. |

Brother Juan Diego's cell was next. His prayer was in both English and Spanish, invoking the help and constant prayers of the Virgen de Guadalupe, whom he has a great devotion to. |
