The novitiate was awarded the task to obtain the year's Christmas tree. It took a lot of effort to get that tree up the priory staircase, through the doors, and into the cloister. Then once inside we had two more flights to carry it up.

	And then finally when we lugged it into our library, the only place in the priory where it would fit, we had to use string to tie it down. It seems the brother, who will remain nameless, that retrieved the tree picked one out with a faulty base. When it was up and grounded we strung the lights on and waited for the evening when the entire priory community would decorate it.
	There she is in all her glory...
